To mark Earth Week, the Sustainability Office is collaborating with Dartmouth Student Government to better understand how Dartmouth students are impacted by the climate crisis. Please take a minute to fill out this poll to share how climate change impacts you and to show your support for BOLD ACTION for climate justice.

Dartmouth and the Upper Valley community are invited to our annual Earth Day panel organized by the Sustainability Office. This year, panelists will update the community on progress made in the past year toward achieving our campus wide carbon emissions goals and efforts to accelerate Dartmouth’s decarbonization. Panelists will also take questions from the public during a concluding Q&A session. Light refreshments will be served after the event.

Fashion Etc. is hosting an Earth Week thrift store! Sell or donate your clothes—help reduce clothing waste on campus! If you want to sell your clothes, you must bring them to Robo 106 on Monday or Tuesday from 4-7 pm, where they will be tagged. Buyers will venmo you! To donate your clothes, bring them to Robo 106 on Monday or Tuesday from 4-7 pm. Money from donated clothes will go to the Listen Center thrift store. Come shop around this Earth Week!

Irving Institute for Energy and Society offers grants up to $5,000 for enrolled undergraduate and graduate students who are advancing the Institute's mission of transforming humankind’s understanding of energy, climate, and society issues, and driving the creation of ideas, technologies, and policies that improve the availability and efficient use of energy for all people.

JAY LEMERY, MD, DMS ‘00: PERSPECTIVES ON THE HUMAN HEALTH IMPACTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE FROM A PIONEER IN CLIMATE MEDICINE

Dr. Lemery is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and is Chief of the Section of Wilderness and Environmental Medicine. He is the immediate Past-President of the Wilderness Medical Society and has provided medical direction to National Science Foundation subcontractors operating at both poles, most recently serving as the EMS Medical Director for the United States Antarctic Program.
