  • If you've ever wondered what happens with timber from the Second College Grant, now's your chance to see it in action! Logs are harvested under a sustainable management regime and, once turned into furniture, sequester carbon for the duration of their lifespan and fuel regional supply chains. We visited a local sawmill this spring and now its time see the lumber turned into furniture for the East Wheelock dorms.

  • Transportation will be provided to the furniture assembly factory, an hour drive in Lisbon, NH.

  • We'll get to tour the factory and learn what it takes to convert Second College Grant lumber into furniture!

  • Sign up here!

CLIMATE WINS

So much of our media is mired in gloom and doom–and don't get us wrong, there's a lot to be wary of when it comes to our fight for a just, livable future in the face of intensifying injustices and climate change. But, there's also SO much good work being done, too, that rarely gets highlighted. We've added this "climate wins" section to our weekly newsletter to counterbalance the bad news and reinvigorate our community in this good and hard work by celebrating wins.
